Kiwis thrash India by 200 runs in ODI

DAMBULLA, Sri Lanka: New Zealand has beaten India by 200 runs at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in the one-day international tri-series opener on Tuesday.

India was all out for 88 in the 30th over in reply to New Zealand's 288 inside 49 overs.

New Zealand 288 in 48.5 overs (Ross Taylor 95, Scott Styris 89; Ashish Nehra 4-47, Praveen Kumar 3-43), def. India 88 in 29.3 overs (Daryl Tuffey 3-34, Jacob Oram 2-15, Kyle Mills 2-26) by 200 runs.
